Revival of Rotaract Club of Koppal was done by DRCC Rtn Santosh Dias and Chairman of Club for Rotract Clubs PDRR Rtn Chandru Patil on the event of 33rd Chartered Day.
The new president of the revived Rotaract Club took over is Rt Nagraj Patil and his team of 25 members were inducted by DRCC.
The new team was made to know the concept of being a member of Rotract Club and the way they can explore the possibility of exposure they get.
DRCC gave the new team of 5 major points to concentrate.
33rd Chartered Day Celebrations were performed on 13.12.2014 of Rotary Club of Koppal at Hotel Partha. The event was graced by PDG Rtn Dr K G Kulkarni and DRCC 3160 Rtn Santosh Dias from RC Gulbarga. All members of the club witnessed the event.

75th DIABETIC CAMP was organised by Rotary Club of Koppal and Dr. K G Kulkarni 'so hospital on 23.11.2014 Sunday .
Dr KGK is organising this camp for the 75th time and serving people in and around Koppal. Around 150 patients were treated considering their blood sugar levels.
To grace the event Member of Parliament of our constituency Sri Sanganna Karadi and MLA Sri Raghavendra Hitnal were present. Both the leaders appreciated the event and the service being given by Dr K G Kulkarni and Rotary Club, and both assured that they will join hands of Rotary Club in serving society with financial aid as well.
The event was witnessed by almost all members of our club. President Rtn PHF Veeranna Kamatar took lead of the function and Rtn A G Sharnappa hosted the event.

ROTARY CLUB KOPPAL celebrated World Food Day in association with Agriculture Input dealer’s Association Koppal and Agriculture Extension Education Unit Koppal on 29th October 2014 in Auditorium, D C Office Koppal In the divine presence of Abhinava Gavisiddeshwara Swamiji of koppal Gavimath . He said Food, water and good talk are real three Gems to lead peaceful life.
Chief Guests Dr K C Raghu ,Food technologist PRESTINE Industries Bangalore stressed on the English saying ‘one has to eat to live but not live to eat’. Small farmers need to be focused and nourished for the sustainable agriculture.
Another Chief Guest Dr Narendra Rai Derla from Mangalore spoke in detail about Food diversity and showed more concern about nutritional aspect of food. Food diversity is seen more in rural folks than urbanites.
Dr M B Patil Scientist in his introductory note explained the importance of Food Day Celebration. Now more than 150 countries in the world are observing the on 16th October to combat hunger and improve in food quality.
Rtn Veeranna Kamatar Presided over the function and told that World Food Prize instituted during 1987 and 1st Scientist to receive this prize is Dr M S Swaminathan of India for his outstanding research in rice and wheat which lead to green revolution in the world. A Health Checkup camp was organised at Belur village near Koppal on 12th October 2014 , after an article was published in a local news paper that many people were suffering from dengue and chickun gunya.
A faster plan was made in association with Indian Redcross Society Koppal branch and a team of doctors was setup. Rushed to the village had a really a extensive screening of the villagers. About 200 patients were treated and free medicine were distributed. Further severe condition patients were referred to higher level of treatment.
